Senior Registered Nurse - OPD

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Department (OPD) in a well-established healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring operational efficiency within the OPD setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the OPD.

• Supervise junior nursing staff and assist in training and development.

• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for patient care plans.

• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and clinical standards.

• Manage patient flow, triage, and documentation efficiently.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Handle emergency situations and escalate as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Valid license or eligibility.

• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in OPD.

• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of clinical practices and patient care protocols.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
