Job Description
A Senior PHP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet business needs. The Senior PHP Developer stays updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal performance and scalability of web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications, including front-end and back-end functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and implement efficient and secure code.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects or issues.
- Write technical documentation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PHP development, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
