Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems on major construction and infrastructure projects in the UAE. This role ensures systems are tested, validated, and fully operational in line with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commissioning activities for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.

• Review design drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans.

• Develop method statements, risk assessments, and commissioning procedures.

• Coordinate with construction, MEP, and QA/QC teams on project sites.

• Conduct system inspections, testing, and functional performance checks.

• Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning.

• Maintain detailed commissioning reports and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and client requirements.

• Participate in final handover and client training sessions.

• Mentor junior engineers and support project handover readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP/commissioning roles, preferably in the UAE or GCC.

• Proven experience in HVAC, chilled water, and fire protection systems commissioning.

• Strong understanding of mechanical codes and international standards.

• Familiarity with BMS integration and testing.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• UAE driving license preferred.
