Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Oversee and manage logistics team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation costs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for the transportation of goods.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer service requirements and delivery deadlines.
  • Implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technology advancements to recommend improvements to logistics operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics or supply chain management role.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, distribution, and warehousing operations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
