Senior Intake and Outfalls Engineer

As a Senior Intake and Outfalls Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of intake and outfall structures for various water-related projects. Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of intake and outfall structures for water treatment facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify potential intake and outfall locations.
• Develop technical specifications and requirements for intake and outfall systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intake and outfall systems into overall water treatment plant design.
• Provide technical support and guidance during construction and commissioning phases of intake and outfall projects.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of intake and outfall systems, and recommend improvements or modifications as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential intake and outfall system failures.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to intake and outfall engineering.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on intake and outfall system design and management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in intake and outfalls engineering.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Experience managing large-scale water infrastructure projects.
