Senior Insurance Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Insurance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of insurance products and services, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on various insurance products, helping them select coverage that meets their needs and protects their assets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Design customized insurance plans based on individual or business requirements, considering risks, budget, and long-term goals
• Identify potential sales opportunities and generate leads
• Evaluate clients' risk exposures, perform detailed risk assessments, and recommend appropriate strategies to mitigate those risks through insurance.
• Meet and exceed sales targets     
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in the insurance industry, with at least 5+ years in a similar consulting or advisory role
• Strong knowledge of various insurance products (life, health, property, casualty, commercial, etc.)
• Exceptional understanding of risk management, underwriting processes, and claims handling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and offer tailored insurance solutions
• Strong business development skills with a proven track record of sales success
• In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), or similar) are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
