Job Description
The Senior Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing all aspects of contracts including drafting, negotiation, and administration. They are also in charge of ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and identifying any potential risks or opportunities. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining proper documentation and records related to contracts.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement contract management processes and procedures.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve any contract issues or disputes.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Prepare reports and presentations on contract performance and trends.
- Conduct contract compliance audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay updated with contract laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of contract laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex contractual issues.
