Senior BIM Technician (Healthcare)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior BIM Technician to join our healthcare design team. As a Senior BIM Technician, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our healthcare projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed BIM models, conduct clash detection, and ensure accurate and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare facility design and construction, proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects specific to the healthcare industry.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain accurate BIM models.
• Provide quality control and review of BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the coordination and clash detection of various disciplines within the BIM model.
• Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations based on the BIM models for project documentation and presentations.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the healthcare design projects.
• Train and mentor junior BIM technicians in the use of BIM software and methodologies.
• Stay abreast of advancements in BIM technology and healthcare design trends to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of BIM execution plans and project schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and provide BIM expertise to support decision-making processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Certification in BIM software applications such as Autodesk Revit or Bentley MicroStation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in BIM modeling, specifically in healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to healthcare facilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
