SAP Specialist - Transportation Management

As the SAP Specialist - Transportation Management, you will play a pivotal role in the development and continuous improvement of our transportation management system, using your expertise in SAP to streamline processes, enhance functionality, and optimize overall supply chain operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and serve as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to ensure our SAP system is effectively utilized to meet the company's transportation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the SAP Transportation Management (TM) system to meet business requirements.

- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the TM system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance functionality.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document transportation management processes and requirements, translating them into system design.

- Develop and maintain user training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure proper use of the system.

- Serve as the primary liaison with the IT department, managing system upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with external consultants, if needed.

- Support the implementation of new transportation strategies and technologies to improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, being proactive in suggesting improvements and innovations to the company's transportation processes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SAP specialist with a focus on Transportation Management.

- Expertise in SAP Transportation Management system configuration, customization, and maintenance.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
