Job Description

As a Sales Executive for Used Cars, you will be responsible for driving sales by prospecting, qualifying, and converting leads into customers. You will effectively communicate the value of our pre-owned vehicles to potential buyers and guide them through the sales process. Your main duties will include conducting test drives, negotiating pricing, and closing deals to meet sales targets. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify potential buyers of used cars through various channels such as cold calling, referrals, and networking.
  • Demonstrate and promote used cars to interested buyers, highlighting key features and benefits to help facilitate decision-making.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements with customers, including pricing, financing options, and additional services.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate information on the condition, history, and performance of used cars.
  • Coordinate with the finance and insurance teams to ensure smooth transactions and assist customers with obtaining suitable financing options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to provide relevant and accurate information to customers.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure the maintenance and presentation of used cars are of high quality to attract potential buyers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies and promotional campaigns to increase sales and visibility of used cars.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success and growth of the used car sales department.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in sales or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and used car market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
