Rigging Planning Manager (Middle East)

As a Rigging Planning Manager in the Middle East, you will be responsible for overseeing and planning rigging operations for various projects in the region. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement rigging plans for various projects in the Middle East region.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and develop rigging strategies accordingly.
• Conduct site visits to assess rigging requirements and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Review and approve rigging procedures, drawings, and calculations to ensure efficiency and safety of operations.
• Manage and oversee the rigging team to ensure timely execution of plans and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to source necessary rigging equipment and materials for projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the rigging team to troubleshoot issues and resolve challenges during project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and timeline to ensure rigging activities are completed within specifications and deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to rigging activities, including reports, records, and risk assessments.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in rigging planning to enhance project efficiency and safety measures.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in rigging planning within the oil and gas industry
• Strong understanding of rigging procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead a team
• Familiarity with Middle East regulations and standards related to rigging operations
