Job Description

As a Retail Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail operations within a company or store. Your main duties will include developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, managing staff to ensure excellent customer service, analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and maintaining inventory levels. You will also be in charge of creating budgets, setting sales targets, and monitoring expenses to ensure profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving retail success. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is typically required for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise retail staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock assessments, and place orders as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Develop strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms to optimize product offerings and pricing.
