Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. This role requires a motivated professional who can support the Restaurant Manager in delivering excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and ensuring smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a solid background in restaurant operations, and a hands-on approach to service and team management. Responsibilities:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring both efficiency and high service standards are consistently met

  • Supervise and guide front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, while also coordinating with kitchen staff for timely service

  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members to maintain performance and service quality

  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels, promptly address any issues or complaints, and ensure every guest has a positive dining experience

  • Manage inventory and ordering processes to maintain appropriate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies

  • Ensure that health, hygiene, and safety regulations are strictly followed across all areas of the restaurant

  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling shifts, maintaining records, and supporting cost control measures

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that drive sales and enhance profitability


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset

  • Sound understanding of restaurant operations, including health and safety regulations and inventory control

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic knowledge of restaurant management software

  • A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred
