We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. This role requires a motivated professional who can support the Restaurant Manager in delivering excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and ensuring smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a solid background in restaurant operations, and a hands-on approach to service and team management. Responsibilities:
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring both efficiency and high service standards are consistently met
Supervise and guide front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, while also coordinating with kitchen staff for timely service
Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members to maintain performance and service quality
Monitor guest satisfaction levels, promptly address any issues or complaints, and ensure every guest has a positive dining experience
Manage inventory and ordering processes to maintain appropriate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies
Ensure that health, hygiene, and safety regulations are strictly followed across all areas of the restaurant
Handle administrative duties such as scheduling shifts, maintaining records, and supporting cost control measures
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that drive sales and enhance profitability
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Sound understanding of restaurant operations, including health and safety regulations and inventory control
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic knowledge of restaurant management software
A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred
