Job Description

A relationship manager in banking is responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-value clients by providing financial solutions tailored to their needs. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client portfolios, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of banking products and services, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to client relationship management.


Responsibilities:

  • develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to enhance portfolio growth

  • identify customer needs and provide suitable financial solutions, including loans, credit products, and investment services

  • achieve sales targets by promoting banking products and services

  • provide high-level customer service and resolve client issues effectively

  • analyze financial statements and assess customer creditworthiness

  • collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery

  • monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

  • ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies

  • prepare and present financial reports, client updates, and performance analysis to management

  • actively participate in networking events, business forums, and community engagements to enhance brand presence


Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field

  • minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or relationship management

  • strong knowledge of banking products, financial markets, and investment solutions

  • excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking CRM software

  • strong analytical skills and ability to assess financial risks

  • ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets

  • knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards

  • fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
