Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals who have incurred an injury or have a disability and developing strategies to help them achieve their vocational and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social capabilities in relation to their work abilities.

- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings and client goals.

- Collaborate with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

- Provide counseling, coaching, and support to clients in order to promote self-reliance and independence.

- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of clients' progress and treatment plans.

- Attend case conferences and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for clients.

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in rehabilitation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation or disability management role.

- Strong understanding of medical terminology, injury/illness management, and vocational rehabilitation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

- Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to rehabilitation services.
