Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes within the organization to ensure products and services meet the established standards. Your duties will include developing quality assurance policies, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address deficiencies and improve processes. You will lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Additionally, you will analyze data, generate reports, and recommend solutions to enhance overall quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. A bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience are often required for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards for product development.
  • Manage and analyze quality performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Investigate customer complaints and quality issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics to senior management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in quality assurance methodologies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in quality management systems such as Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
