Production Engineer

We are seeking a Production Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production workflows, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments, including quality control, maintenance, and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• oversee daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency

• develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste

• coordinate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics

• analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions

• ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

• troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime

• participate in new product development and process optimization initiatives

• manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock

• prepare reports on production performance, downtime, and efficiency metrics

• train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety protocols

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

• minimum 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

• strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control methods

• proficiency in cad software and production management tools

• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• strong communication and leadership abilities

• familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices

• experience in automation and process optimization is a plus
