Job Description
The Product Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that products meet all regulatory requirements and standards. The role requires a knowledgeable and detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills. The Product Compliance Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as product development teams and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product compliance strategies and programs.
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure compliance from the design phase.
- Review and approve product specifications, labels, and documentation.
- Conduct product testing and coordinate with external laboratories as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance employee awareness.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product compliance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
