Job Description

The Procurement Manager for Luxury Hotels is responsible for managing the procurement process and supply chain activities for luxury hotel properties. They develop procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. The Procurement Manager negotiates contracts, conducts supplier evaluations, and manages vendor relationships to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery of goods. They collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs and goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for luxury hotel properties.
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to promote favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of procurement activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement management, preferably in the luxury hotel industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
