Pharmacy Manager

We are hiring an experienced pharmacy manager to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage inventory. The ideal candidate will lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, optimize pharmaceutical services, and provide exceptional customer care. Responsibilities include prescription management, staff supervision, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency. You will also ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and provide professional advice on medications.

Responsibilities:

• manage pharmacy operations, including inventory, staff, and customer service

• ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and pharmacy laws

• oversee prescription verification and medication dispensing procedures

• maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate cost-effective procurement

• provide expert advice on prescription and over-the-counter medications

• supervise, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff to optimize performance

• develop and implement policies to enhance operational efficiency

• handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally

• ensure proper storage and handling of medications to maintain quality

• monitor sales, budgets, and performance metrics to improve profitability

Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field; HAAD license preferred

• minimum 5 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy management

• strong leadership and organizational skills

• excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare policies

• proficiency in pharmacy management software
