Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pathologist to join our medical team. As a Pathologist, you will be responsible for examining tissue samples and performing autopsies to diagnose and treat diseases. Your duties will include analyzing laboratory tests, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and providing accurate and timely pathology reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anatomical and clinical pathology, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A medical degree and board certification in pathology are required for this role. Responsibilities

  • Perform pathological examinations and autopsies to diagnose diseases and determine causes of death.
  • Examine and analyze tissue samples using various laboratory techniques.
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to medical staff and other relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and recommendations.
  • Provide guidance on appropriate laboratory tests and procedures for diagnosing diseases.
  • Stay current with advancements in pathology and related fields through continuing education and research.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Supervise laboratory staff and provide mentorship and training when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient samples, test results, and diagnoses.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for laboratory practices.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Residency training in pathology
  • Board certification in pathology
  • State medical license to practice as a pathologist
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
