Operations Supervisor - Manufacturing

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production staff, ensuring that all production targets and quality standards are met. The Operations Supervisor will be involved in coordinating workflow, scheduling production runs, and monitoring inventory levels. Additionally, the role will require supervising and training production staff, implementing operational policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in manufacturing operations. A degree in a related field and previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations within the manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate and organize production schedules to meet customer demands and quality standards.
• Manage and lead a team of production workers, providing coaching and training as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics such as production output, efficiency, and quality control.
• Implement and maintain safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues or bottlenecks to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote teamwork and achieve operational goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
