Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with patients to help them improve their ability to perform daily activities and navigate their environments. Duties include assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to promote independence and enhance quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support to patients across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, schools, and rehabilitation centers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to establish rapport with patients and their families. A degree in Occupational Therapy and relevant licensing/certification are required. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, psychological, and social conditions to determine functional abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their daily living skills and achieve maximum independence.
  • Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to improve strength, range of motion, coordination, and motor skills.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications to help patients perform daily tasks and activities.
  • Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers on how to support and assist in the therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Document patients' progress, treatment results, and other relevant information accurately and timely.
  • Stay current on evidence-based practices and research in occupational therapy to continually improve patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, goals, and discharge planning.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in occupational therapy.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
