Nurse Assistant

Job Description

A Nurse Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and providing emotional support to patients. The Nurse Assistant works closely with the nursing team to ensure patients are comfortable and well-cared for.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs
• Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients
• Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment

Candidate Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
