MRI Technician

The MRI Technician is responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans in a clinical setting, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role involves preparing patients, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure. Working in a hospital or medical center environment in the UAE, the technician collaborates closely with radiologists and medical staff to deliver precise imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and positioning patients for MRI procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Operating MRI machines and monitoring scans to ensure high-quality images.

• Reviewing scan results and assisting radiologists in interpreting findings.

• Maintaining patient records and imaging data with confidentiality and accuracy.

• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols related to magnetic fields and radiation.

• Performing routine maintenance and reporting equipment issues promptly.

• Educating patients about the procedure and addressing any concerns.

• Adhering to infection control and hygiene protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

• Valid license or eligibility as an MRI Technician.

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques.

• Good communication and patient-care skills.

• Familiarity with PACS systems and imaging software.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
