MEP Design Engineer

The MEP Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. They will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of MEP systems into building designs. The MEP Design Engineer will develop detailed plans, including system layouts, specifications, and calculations. They will also review and approve shop drawings, conduct site inspections, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to integrate MEP systems into building designs.
• Develop detailed MEP plans, including system layouts, specifications, and calculations.
• Review and approve shop drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the installation and functionality of MEP systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Perform energy calculations to optimize the efficiency of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest technology and industry trends in MEP systems.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to MEP designs and installations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in MEP design and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
