MEP BIM Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled MEP BIM Coordinator to manage the development and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. This role involves working closely with engineering and design teams to ensure project accuracy, clash detection, and compliance with BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage BIM models for MEP systems.

• Coordinate with architects and engineers for design integration.

• Perform clash detection and resolve model conflicts.

• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards.

• Create construction documentation from BIM models.

• Support BIM execution planning and implementation.

• Train and support project teams in BIM tools and processes.

• Maintain version control and file management systems.

• Participate in project meetings and reviews.

• Continuously improve BIM workflows and strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of BIM coordination experience in MEP projects.

• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.

• Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
