Mechanical Helper

The Mechanical Helper supports technicians and engineers in performing maintenance, installation, and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment. This entry-level role involves assisting with tools, materials, and worksite preparation, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety standards. Working under direct supervision, the Mechanical Helper plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency across construction sites, workshops, or facilities in line with UAE labor and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting mechanical technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and machinery.

• Preparing tools, materials, and work areas for daily mechanical tasks.

• Carrying out basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, cleaning components, and assembling parts under supervision.

• Ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained.

• Supporting the transportation and movement of heavy machinery parts using proper lifting techniques.

• Adhering to site safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Reporting unsafe practices or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.

• Following instructions from senior technicians and engineers and completing assigned tasks on time.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in a mechanical or construction support role, ideally in the UAE.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and safety practices.

• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor and high-temperature environments.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to site-specific safety protocols.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
