Job Description

As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of receiving, storing, and distributing materials within a company or organization. Your main duties will include maintaining inventory levels, tracking shipments, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to various departments. You will work closely with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be required to update and maintain accurate records of all materials and shipments, as well as monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movement.
  • Monitor and track orders to prevent delays and shortages.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source new suppliers and negotiate pricing.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory management and material usage.
  • Work with production teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and material handling.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding material requirements and availability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in material coordination or related field preferred.
