Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within a facility. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, delegating tasks, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and according to safety regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be in charge of developing maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections of equipment and systems, and coordinating with outside contractors when necessary. Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in maintenance and a proven track record of effectively managing maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance team, including assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed on time.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure effective and safe operations.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment history.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and optimizing costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives through effective maintenance practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
