Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation procedures. The Logistics Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse employees, provide guidance and support, and ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement process improvements. A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics and a Bachelor's degree in a related field are required for this position. Join our team and contribute to the success of our logistics operations!


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and maintain transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Supervise and train logistics team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and prepare reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate contracts for transportation and warehousing services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all logistics activities.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track and manage stock levels accurately.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in logistics management to drive continuous improvement in operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
