Job Description

As a Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products. Your primary duties will include overseeing transportation of goods, managing warehouse inventory, and optimizing shipping routes. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline the logistics process and meet customer demands. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, delivery schedules, or quality of products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as purchasing, sales, and customer service to ensure smooth logistics processes.
  • Analyze logistics data and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers and evaluate their performance to ensure quality service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in logistics to recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
  • Previous experience working in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
