Job Description

As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the success of our property management team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the leasing process from start to finish, showcasing available units to potential tenants, and guiding interested parties through the application process. You will be responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the property and its amenities, as well as staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor pricing. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential in this role, as you will be interacting with current residents, prospective tenants, and third-party vendors on a regular basis. Additionally, you will assist with organizing and hosting property events and developing marketing strategies to attract new residents. Responsibilities

  • Assist prospective tenants with inquiries and provide information on available properties.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase rental units to potential tenants.
  • Screen rental applications and conduct background checks on applicants.
  • Negotiate lease terms and rental pricing with tenants.
  • Prepare leasing agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes for tenants, including inspection of rental units.
  • Follow up with tenants to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor pricing.
  • Collaborate with property managers on marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
  • Maintain organized records of leasing activities and tenant interactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of leasing terms and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
