Junior Mechanical Engineer

The Junior Mechanical Engineer will support the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components in alignment with project specifications and regulatory requirements in the UAE. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their technical skills within a collaborative engineering team. The engineer will work under the supervision of senior staff, contributing to calculations, CAD drawings, testing, and site inspections across diverse projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the design and analysis of mechanical systems using CAD software and engineering principles.

• Supporting the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, and documentation for mechanical installations.

• Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and ensure alignment with engineering standards.

• Collaborating with senior engineers and other departments on project planning, execution, and troubleshooting.

• Performing basic calculations for load analysis, thermal performance, and mechanical efficiency.

• Preparing reports and documentation for internal reviews and client submissions.

• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors for procurement and technical clarifications.

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards as per UAE engineering regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the UAE construction or manufacturing sectors.

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, piping, fire-fighting, or plumbing systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other mechanical design software.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with UAE engineering codes and project documentation standards.
