Junior Biomedical Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Biomedical Engineer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biomedical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring the safety and functionality of healthcare technologies. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge medical devices in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment
• troubleshoot and repair medical devices to ensure optimal performance
• conduct regular inspections and testing to comply with safety standards and regulations
• collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide technical support
• document maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment inventory
• stay updated on advancements in biomedical technology and regulatory requirements
• support procurement by evaluating new medical equipment and providing recommendations
• assist in training healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices
• ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations and quality standards
• coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for technical support and spare parts procurement

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• basic knowledge of medical equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques
• familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• ability to work in a hospital or clinical environment and adapt to dynamic situations
• strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• good communication skills to interact with medical staff and vendors
• willingness to learn and stay updated with emerging biomedical technologies
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• previous internship or experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
