Job Description
A Journalist who is fluent in Arabic is responsible for researching, investigating, and reporting news stories in print, broadcast, or digital media. They conduct interviews, attend events, and gather information from various sources. The journalist verifies facts, writes news articles or scripts, and edits content for accuracy and clarity. They also adhere to journalistic ethics and industry standards while delivering news stories that educate and inform the public.
Responsibilities
- Research and investigate news stories using reliable sources
- Conduct interviews with relevant individuals and gather information
- Write news articles, features, or scripts in Arabic language
- Edit content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines
- Stay updated on current events, political situations, and societal issues
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain objectivity in reporting
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and editors to produce multimedia content
- Use social media platforms and other digital tools to engage with the audience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, or a related field
- Fluent in Arabic language, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in journalism, preferably in news reporting
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong research and investigative abilities
