IT Technical Support Associate

We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Support Associate to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot system problems, assist users, and ensure smooth IT operations within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• troubleshoot and resolve system errors, connectivity problems, and application malfunctions
• assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and software
• monitor system performance and ensure IT equipment is functioning correctly
• document and track technical issues, resolutions, and user support requests
• escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT support when necessary
• support IT security policies by ensuring compliance with company protocols
• assist in setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure, including printers, servers, and communication tools
• train employees on IT best practices and software usage
• perform routine system updates and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements:

• diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• previous experience in IT support or helpdesk roles preferred
• strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting techniques
• familiarity with IT support tools, remote desktop software, and ticketing systems
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• strong communication and customer service skills
• ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently
