Job Description
The IT Technical Support Associate is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. They will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide guidance on software and hardware usage, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve network issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document all support activities and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
- Train end-users on software and hardware usage.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
