Job Description
The IT Service Delivery Specialist ensures the efficient delivery of IT services to clients or internal users. They are responsible for managing service requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining IT systems and networks. The IT Service Delivery Specialist also collaborates with other IT teams to optimize service delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize IT service requests and incidents in accordance with defined service level agreements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, including peripherals and software applications.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, incidents, and resolutions.
- Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Perform regular system maintenance and ensure software and hardware are up to date.
- Monitor and optimize IT systems and networks to ensure smooth operations.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in service delivery processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT service delivery or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or Mac.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
