IT Operations And Support Engineer - Application Support

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations and Support Engineer - Application Support to manage and maintain business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure smooth IT operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support business applications and IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with software developers, IT teams, and end-users to resolve application-related issues.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system performance and security issues.
• Perform application installations, updates, and configurations to optimize functionality.
• Maintain and update system documentation, user manuals, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection, and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring application issues.
• Assist with IT operations tasks, including server management, database administration, and cloud services.
• Support the implementation of IT automation and process improvements.
• Train and guide end-users on application functionalities and troubleshooting steps.
• Escalate complex issues to third-party vendors or senior IT personnel when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application support, IT operations, or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases (SQL, Oracle), and cloud platforms.
• Experience with IT service management tools (ITSM) and ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Understanding of networking, security protocols, and system integrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
