IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes ensuring the effective operation, security, and scalability of all IT assets, from hardware and software to networks and databases. The IT Manager plays a critical role in aligning technology strategies with business goals, managing IT budgets, and leading a team of IT professionals to deliver timely technical support and innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.

• Oversee the maintenance, security, and operation of all IT infrastructure including networks, servers, software, and hardware.

• Manage and support the internal IT team, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality delivery.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Lead technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

• Ensure cybersecurity protocols and data protection compliance across all IT systems.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance business processes.

• Manage IT vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Prepare and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

• Train employees on software, IT policies, and security best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, security, and infrastructure management.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, ERP systems, and cybersecurity protocols.

• Proven ability to manage IT teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are advantageous.
