IP Medical Coder

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IP Medical Coder to join our team. As an IP Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and accurately assigning diagnostic and procedural codes for inpatient medical records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and documentation, as well as comply with all coding regulations and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for abstracting and analyzing clinical data from patient records. The successful candidate must have a valid coding certification (such as CCS) and previous experience working in inpatient coding. Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical diagnoses and procedures for billing and reimbursement purposes.
