Job Description

An Internal Audit Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the internal audit function within a company. They are in charge of evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role involves identifying areas of improvement, conducting audits, and implementing recommendations to enhance organizational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing internal audit policies and procedures
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of risk
• Planning and executing internal audit projects
• Reviewing and evaluating financial and operational processes
• Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management
• Monitoring compliance with policies and regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of audit practices and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
