Job Description
We are looking for an Instrumentation Engineer who can work with us!
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for delivering I&C design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
2. I&C Design & Engineering Work – to develop engineering design work based on requirements and to coordinate with other departments on the design work.
3. Preparing pre-commissioning/commissioning procedure and assistance.
4. Coordinate with the client, the third party, detail and other relevant parties in project；
5. Construction Assistance – to provide supervision at the construction site (depends on projects varies from few days to few months).
6. Procurement Assistance – to provide data sheet to Procurement, prepare bid tabulation and conduct evaluation on vendors’ quotation
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 5 years of working experience preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
2. Understand various fire & gas detection technologies (e.g., catalyst, open-path, IR),
3. Understand Instrumentation Society of America (ISA) and American Petroleum Association (API) Symbols and Process and Instrumentation Diagram and how to read a P&ID,
4. Understand basics of signal transmission media, communication hardware and software,
5. Demonstrated understanding of overall Instrumentation and Control (I&C) requirements and design principles and knowledge of field measurement and control devices and their proper application,
6. Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, performance analysis and the ability to solve field problems and familiarity with measurement and control devices from major vendors in the Industry,
7. Knowledge of safety system hardware, software architecture, and transmission systems and familiarity with SIS software and hardware platforms from major vendors (Schneider-Electric, Honeywell, HIMA, etc.) and the capabilities to maintain and support the site implementation,
8. Knowledge of safety in design principles, ability to contribute to HAZOPs and Risk Assessments, SIL assignment and evaluation processes and knowledge and proper use of Hazardous Area codes to be able to classify areas and specify appropriate equipment,
9. Knowledge of fire and gas detection technology, systems, and implementation,
10. Familiarity with SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software or equivalent,
11. Familiarity with Digitalization Hand over projects,
12. Familiarity with ADNOC ONSHORE Code and Well Digitalization projects is an advantage,
(Experience in implementation of well digitalization upgradation and renovation project renovation is a plus)
Chinese is a plus!
With driving License is a plus!
