Infection Control Officer

We are seeking an Infection Control Officer to oversee infection prevention and control measures in a healthcare setting. The role involves developing policies, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with local and international infection control standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Train healthcare staff on infection control protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and implement containment strategies.
• Ensure adherence to local and international infection control regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infection control in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals and hospital staff.
