Job Description
The Hydraulic Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining hydraulic systems. They analyze project requirements, develop system specifications, and design hydraulic components. The Hydraulic Engineer also conducts tests on hydraulic systems to ensure their performance and safety. They collaborate with other engineers and technicians to implement hydraulic systems in various applications. Additionally, they provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop hydraulic systems based on project requirements.
- Create system specifications, including component selection and sizing.
- Conduct tests and simulations to evaluate hydraulic system performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate hydraulic systems into machinery and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with hydraulic systems.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of hydraulic systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydraulic technology and incorporate them into designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in hydraulic system design and development.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
