Job Description
The HVAC Technician installs, repairs, and maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. They diagnose faults, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. The HVAC Technician also conducts preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the efficiency and safety of HVAC systems. They collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify problems.
- Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect HVAC systems and components to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on HVAC projects.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or diploma in HVAC technology.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
