Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, handling confidential information with discretion, coordinating interviews, scheduling meetings, and assisting with HR projects. The HR Assistant should have strong communication skills, be organized, and possess a solid understanding of HR functions and relevant laws and regulations. A successful candidate will be a team player, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing job postings, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation, including preparing necessary paperwork and facilitating training sessions.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Process payroll and benefits administration, including enrolling new employees and managing changes to existing benefits.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including tracking employee evaluations and providing support for performance improvement plans.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives and programs, such as employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as annual open enrollment, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee recognition events.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including organizing meetings, maintaining supplies, and preparing reports.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
