Job Description

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the hotel premises. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to develop and implement cleaning procedures, protocols, and schedules to maintain a clean and sanitized environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and educating staff on best practices for cleanliness and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned on a regular basis.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and reorder as needed.
  • Respond to guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to address any maintenance or repair issues related to cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in hotel cleanliness to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with management to develop and maintain cleanliness standards in line with the hotel's brand and reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleanliness and sanitation.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Good communication skills, especially for interacting with guests
