Healthcare Billing Executive (IP)

The Healthcare Billing Executive (Inpatient) is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing cycle for inpatient services in accordance with UAE healthcare insurance and regulatory requirements. This role involves generating accurate invoices, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring timely claim submissions and reimbursements. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital or medical facility setting and liaise with clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing inpatient bills for accuracy before submission to insurance companies.

• Ensuring all services and consumables are correctly captured in patient records.

• Submitting claims within designated timeframes using electronic medical billing systems.

• Communicating with insurance companies for approvals, rejections, and follow-ups.

• Verifying insurance coverage and patient eligibility before or during admissions.

• Coordinating with medical coding teams to ensure accurate ICD/CPT coding.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UAE insurance guidelines and DHA/DOH regulations.

• Resolving billing discrepancies and managing denials or resubmissions.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inpatient billing in the UAE healthcare sector.

• Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance policies, billing procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Experience using hospital billing systems.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
